WHO IS JEMIMA GERIATRIC?
Jemima Geriatric is not as old as she sounds. She started out on the Dublin drag scene in the mid-2000s, winning The Drag Apprentice which led to a weekly gig in The Side Door's show, Closet Case.
She is known for her energetic, dance-based style of drag that demands attention.
Utterly obsessed with music, it was somewhat inevitable that she would become one of The Boiler Room's resident DJ's. She also spins records regularly in clubs and bars of which there are too many to name.
She is known throughout the club scene for her inventive mixtapes and dj mixes.
As Jemima G, she makes music. Mixing retro house with grime, her sound is unlike any other.
She has released two singles (and accompanying music videos), Bass Shudder and Fortuna Fortuna. Both are available on iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp and 7Digital. She is currently working on her first album.
